Welcome to Affiliate Marketing Training

5 Steps. No Hype. Just Results.

Intro

Hello, My name is Nathan and I love affiliate marketing. I’ve been involved in affiliate marketing since the 2000s — and I’ve built this training to show you how to start without the hype, without the scams, and without wasting years figuring it out on your own.

This system is built around 5 simple steps. Follow them in order, don’t skip around, and you’ll set yourself up for real online income. At certain points, I’ll ask you to check in with me by email so I can verify your progress and unlock advanced strategies.

Here’s the truth:

Earning online isn’t magic — but it’s also not as hard as the gurus make it sound. What I’ll share with you is based on years of testing, trial, and error. I’ve cut out the noise and kept only what works.

Most of the tools I recommend are free to join — the only cost is hosting. Don’t worry, you won’t need it until after the first couple of steps. With our deep discount, hosting comes down to just a few bucks per month to launch your first affiliate website. Follow the system exactly, and you’ll see results. Skip steps or try to reinvent it, and you will fail.

Follow my 5 simple steps, and you could be making your first commissions in just weeks. Stick with it, and over time you can grow into a steady income — even thousands per month.

Step 1

Goal

Create a dedicated Gmail account for your affiliate business (not your personal one). This Gmail becomes your business hub for:

    • Affiliate program signups

    • Training updates (email lessons)

    • Direct communication (Google Chat with mentor)

    • File storage (Google Drive, 15GB free)

    • Access to future tools (Docs, Sheets, Chat, Classroom)

Choosing Your Business Gmail Address

Your Gmail is your business identity — use something professional that you won’t regret later.

✅ Do’s (Good Examples)

    • Use your real name + a simple extension:

      • johnsmith.online@gmail.com

      • mariagarcia.affiliates@gmail.com

      • davidlee.biz@gmail.com

    • Keep it short, clear, and easy to remember.

    • Use dots or keywords if your name is common:

      • john.smith.marketing@gmail.com

      • maria.garcia.affiliate@gmail.com

❌ Don’ts (Bad Examples)

    • No silly usernames:

      • cooldude123@gmail.com

      • partyqueen@yahoo.com

      • moneyhungryzillionaire@gmail.com

    • Don’t mix with personal:

      • maria.loves.pizza@gmail.com

      • davidfamily2024@gmail.com

    • Avoid confusing numbers or random letters:

      • johnx7p44@gmail.com

Pro Tip

Think of this Gmail as something you’d be comfortable putting on a job application or a business card. If it looks unprofessional, create a new one.

Security Setup (Protect Your Business Gmail)

Your Gmail is the center of your affiliate business — if you lose access, you lose everything.
Follow these steps to lock it down:

✅ 1. Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

    • Go to your Google Account → Security → 2-Step Verification.

    • Add your phone or an authenticator app (Google Authenticator / Authy).

    • This means even if someone steals your password, they still can’t log in without your phone.

✅ 2. Add a Recovery Phone Number

    • Enter your mobile number in your account settings.

    • If you forget your password, Google can text you a reset code.

    • Pro Tip: Use your main cell number (not a burner or old phone).

✅ 3. Add a Backup Email Address

    • Use another email you trust (e.g., your personal Gmail).

    • If you ever get locked out, recovery links will also go there.

✅ 4. Create a Strong, Unique Password

    • At least 12 characters, mix of upper/lowercase, numbers, and symbols.

    • Avoid personal info (birthday, pet name, etc.).

    • Never reuse a password you’ve used elsewhere.

✅ 5. Use a Password Manager (Optional but Recommended)

    • Tools like Bitwarden, 1Password, or LastPass keep your logins safe.

    • This way you don’t have to remember dozens of long passwords.

Warning

Hackers love going after affiliate accounts. If they get into your Gmail, they can reset your affiliate logins, steal commissions, or lock you out.
Securing Gmail = securing your money.

Once done, write down your new Gmail address and keep your login details safe.

✅ That’s Step 1 complete — you now have your affiliate business hub ready.

Step 2: Affiliate Program Research

Now that you have your business Gmail, the next step is simple: start looking at a few popular affiliate programs. Don’t worry about applying or promoting anything yet — for now, your job is just to get familiar and keep track of where they are.

Important: Don’t sign up for any program yet. Just collect the information and keep track of the websites. We’ll explain what to do with them later.

✅Popular Affiliate Programs for Your Affiliate Marketing Business

  • Amazon Associates – Earn from millions of products online.
  • Impact – Access programs like Elementor, Canva, MailerLite, and Mint Mobile.
  • Freelancer – Earn when you refer people to hire or work on projects.

What To Do Right Now

  1. Log in to your new Gmail account.
  2. Click the **Google Apps icon** (the 9 dots in the top-right corner).
  3. Select Google Sheets from the list.
  4. Or click here to go directly: Open Google Sheets
  5. Create a new sheet called Affiliate Programs.
  6. Make columns for: Program Name | Website URL | Notes.
  7. List the affiliate programs above (Amazon, Impact, Freelancer) and save the sheet in your Google Drive.

Important: Don’t sign up for any program yet. Just collect the information and keep track of the websites. We’ll explain what to do with them later.

Step 3: Check-In (Your First Real Test)

You’ve now completed:

  • ✅ Step 1: Created your dedicated Gmail
  • ✅ Step 2: Explored affiliate programs and logged them into your Google Sheet

Now comes your first checkpoint.
This step ensures you’re building on a solid foundation, and it also tests your patience — an important trait for affiliate marketing success.

What To Do Now

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Go to Google Chat.
  3. Add your mentor (the person who introduced you to this training) as a contact.
  4. Send them this message:
    Hi [Mentor’s Name],

I’ve completed Step 1 (Gmail) and Step 2 (Affiliate Program List).
Here’s my Google Sheet link: [Insert Link]

  5. Wait for your mentor to review your progress and confirm.

⏱️ Why This Step Matters

  • Keeps the training structured (no skipping ahead).
  • Verifies you’ve done everything correctly so far.
  • Gives you direct access to your mentor.
  • Builds accountability — your mentor knows you’re serious.
  • Tests your patience, an essential skill for real online business.

If your mentor doesn’t reply within 48 hours, you can contact me directly:

A Lesson in Patience

Affiliate marketing is not instant. Like planting a tree, success takes time, consistency, and patience.
That’s why this checkpoint matters — it teaches you to follow the system step by step without rushing.

“Success grows on the tree of patience.”
