Data Backup & Recovery Policy

ASLHosting.com provides hosting services that include limited backup options. However, clients are responsible for maintaining their own backups unless enrolled in a managed backup plan.

1. Backup Responsibilities

  • Client Responsibility: Clients must regularly back up their website, databases, and files.
  • ASLHosting Responsibility: We provide automated backups only for clients enrolled in a managed hosting plan.

2. Backup Retention Policy

  • Daily backups are retained for 7 days.
  • Weekly backups are retained for 30 days.
  • Backups older than 30 days are automatically deleted.

3. Data Recovery Fees

  • Self-Restoration: Free for clients with access to backups.
  • ASLHosting-Assisted Restoration: $50 per restore request.

4. Limitation of Liability

ASLHosting.com is not responsible for lost data due to hacking, software errors, or accidental deletion unless a managed backup plan is in place.
