Domain Name Ownership Agreement

This Domain Name Agreement (“Agreement”) is made and entered into on [Date] by and between:

  • ASLHosting.com & NathanKWebDesign.com (hereinafter referred to as the “Reseller”)
  • [Client’s Name] (hereinafter referred to as the “Client”)

By purchasing domain registration services through ASLHosting.com or NathanKWebDesign.com, the Client agrees to the following terms:

1. Domain Name Registration

  • The Reseller registers domain names on behalf of clients through third-party registrars.
  • The domain name will be registered in the Client’s name unless otherwise agreed upon.
  • The Client is responsible for providing accurate contact details for domain registration.

2. Ownership & Control

  • The Client retains full ownership rights to their domain name once payment is complete.
  • The Reseller does not claim ownership of any domain registered for the Client.
  • The Reseller reserves the right to suspend, lock, or cancel a domain if the Client violates ASLHosting.com’s policies or fails to pay renewal fees.

3. Renewals & Expiration

  • The Client is responsible for renewing their domain before the expiration date.
  • If a domain expires, the Reseller is not liable for any business losses or website downtime.
  • A late renewal fee may apply if the domain is renewed after expiration.

4. Transfer of Ownership

  • The Client may request to transfer their domain to another registrar at any time.
  • Domain transfers may require identity verification to prevent fraud.
  • The Reseller is not responsible for domain transfer failures caused by third-party registrars.

5. Domain Restrictions & Responsibilities

Clients May NOT Use Their Domain For:
❌ Engaging in illegal activities (fraud, phishing, copyright violations).
❌ Hosting spam, malware, or adult content that violates hosting policies.
❌ Misleading branding that infringes on trademarks or intellectual property rights.

The Client is fully responsible for the content hosted on their domain.

6. Indemnification

The Client agrees to hold harmless ASLHosting.com & NathanKWebDesign.com against any:
✔ Legal claims regarding domain ownership disputes.
✔ Intellectual property or trademark infringement claims.
✔ Business losses caused by domain expiration, suspension, or transfer delays.

7. Dispute Resolution

  • Any disputes related to this Agreement shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association (AAA) rules.
  • The Client agrees not to file chargebacks or payment disputes for registered domain services.

8. Governing Law

  • This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of [State/Country].

9. Entire Agreement

  • This Agreement supersedes all prior discussions, agreements, or understandings regarding domain registration services.
  • No changes to this Agreement will be valid unless made in writing and agreed upon by both parties.
